LoopRoom vs Zendesk
Zendesk is a help desk, built to answer every customer on every channel at any scale. LoopRoom is built for a small team that also builds the product: a customer's message becomes a ticket, an AI agent fixes it, and the customer hears back. Here is the comparison, and for a dedicated support team Zendesk is the better choice.
LoopRoom
$29.99 a person a month, or $24.99 billed yearly
Everything below included, plus calls, chat, clips, dictation, booking and error reports.
Zendesk
$69 Suite Team, per agent ($55 yearly). Support Team $25 ($19)
No free plan; a 14-day trial. Only agents are seats.

The big differences
From message to fixed
A customer writes through the widget on your product. LoopRoom turns it into a ticket in plain words, an AI coding agent on your own machine works on it, someone on your team confirms the fix is live, and the customer hears back. One loop, in the window your team already works in.
Five people, one ticket
When five customers report the same problem, LoopRoom groups them into one ticket, in their own words, and counts the people waiting, because that is what actually costs you.
Errors are tickets too
Error reports from Sentry arrive next to customer messages, and closing the ticket resolves the error in Sentry. There is no second dashboard to watch.
Your whole team, one price
Zendesk charges per agent, so the people who build the product usually cannot see the queue. In LoopRoom everyone on the team sees the tickets, at the same price that covers calls, chat, clips, dictation, booking and error reports.
Where Zendesk is better
It is a real help desk. Email, live chat, phone and social channels, a help center, canned replies, satisfaction surveys and configurable SLAs. LoopRoom has none of those yet: customer messages arrive through the widget on your product, and replies go through your own product.
AI that answers customers for you. Zendesk's AI agents resolve common questions on their own. LoopRoom's AI works on the fix, not the conversation.
Security and compliance. SOC 2, ISO certifications, single sign-on, HIPAA support and a choice of data region. We do not have those yet.
A separate support team. If your support team is separate from the people who build the product, Zendesk is built for them. LoopRoom is for small teams where the same people do both.
Questions
Can customers email us in LoopRoom?
Not yet. Customer messages arrive through the feedback widget on your product, from error reports, and from your own team. If email is your main support channel, Zendesk is the better choice today.
Who counts as a seat?
People on your team. Customers never count, and neither do guests or AI agents.
Is LoopRoom cheaper than Zendesk?
Per person, yes: Zendesk Suite Team is $69 an agent a month ($55 billed yearly) and LoopRoom is $29.99 ($24.99 billed yearly). But Zendesk only charges agents, while LoopRoom charges everyone on the team, and also covers calls, chat, clips, dictation, booking and error reports.
